Plant Care & Growing Guide

  • Sunlight Requirements

    • Prefers bright, indirect sunlight to full sun (at least 4 to 6 hours of daily sunlight) for maximum flowering.

  • Watering

    • Water moderately when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch.

    • Avoid overwatering or letting the pot sit in water, as poor drainage causes root rot.

  • Soil & Potting Mix

    • Needs rich, well-draining, slightly acidic soil.

    • Ideal potting ratio: Garden soil, organic compost/vermicompost, and coarse sand or perlite.

  • Temperature & Humidity

    • Thrives in warm, humid conditions.

    • Protect from cold winds and frost during cold winter months.

  • Fertilization

    • Feed every 2–3 weeks with an organic liquid fertilizer or mustard cake solution during the active spring and summer growing period.

  • Pruning

    • Prune lightly after each flowering period to maintain a tidy, bushy shape and encourage fresh shoots for the next bloom cycle.
